Note that the Brompton World Championships–set for Sun, 9/28 in London UK, have also taken note of style–the 2008 BWC (as well as the 07 version) has a dress code — lycra is banned and all racers, male and female, must wear business attire including jacket and tie!

what a novel and hip idea! i hope it goes till 6:30 or 7p as i will have to be working the booth until 6pm each day, so sadly enough i will have to miss most of it. calling all bloggers: please take some pictures and write about this!

This sounds like something that is desperately needed right now. I think there needs to be a movement away from the spandex bike clothes if we are ever going to get more people involved in day-to-day cycling. I’m going to do my best to be there! Sounds fantastic!
