Man, doing the video thing is alot more work than just posting. Finally after some quality time in the Sea Otter Media Center, I’ve got something to show. I interviewed Pedro’s current GM and soon to be CEO, Chris Zigmont, about their efforts to be green and a socially responsible company. Good stuff from a passionate member of our industry. Also includes news about the management buyout of Pedro’s back from Swix. (Please excuse my noobi-ness as an on-camera interviewer…) More videos to come.

    Great job, Rich!

Good audio. Good use of a tripod. Very, very immediate.

Will you be loading your content to other places or just using Brightcove (big investment, I know…but good to get the vids out to the viral sites too).

Thanks for the kind words, Carlton. For now, it’s just with Brightcove. I need to work on the workflow for more efficient download-edit-upload since it takes up alot of time currently - then maybe I can spread the love around a bit more. I have a few more vids from Sea Otter coming.

    Totally understand, Rich.

When you’re ready, go have a look at TubeMogul.com. You load your vid and TubeMogul posts it on loads of sharing sites, YouTube, Metacafe, Viddler etc etc.

I favour Vimeo, for sheer quality, but YouTube has the audience.

Good work, Rich. I also uploaded a handful of videos from Sea Otter to YouTube. I haven’t uploaded your “unveiling” of Arleigh’s Truvativ bar yet, though :-)

I’ll have to look at the Tubemogul site, Carlton. As I was uploading stuff to YouTube last night I was thinking a site like Tubemogul would be a good idea!
